Terms of Legislative Assemblies
Whenever the tenure of any state assembly is over or it is dissolved due to certain reasons, then the Election Commission of India (ECI) conducts an election in that particular state. The following table shows the tenure of the State Legislative Assemblies and the possibility of the next upcoming election in respective states:
