ADR organised a Stakeholder Discussion on Electoral & Political Reforms: Issues, Challenges & Recommendations on March 10, 2026, from 09:30 AM to 5:00 PM at Multipurpose Hall (Kamaladevi Complex), India International Centre, New Delhi.

The discussion saw an array of members of political parties, ex-CECs, lawyers, academics, and leading thinkers in this area to deliberate on some of the most pressing issues key to implementing electoral and political reforms. The objective of this event was to compile some concrete reform proposals based on the discussion between the stakeholders and submit them to the relevant authorities for implementation.

The event had three sessions, namely, "Criminalization of politics: Implications for electoral integrity", from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM; "Rebuilding Transparency in Political Finance Post-Electoral Bonds", from 12 PM to 01:45 PM, and "The Impact of Election Commissioners’ Appointment Procedures on Electoral Credibility" from 3:00 PM to 04:45 PM.
