Might 4(UNI) Uttar Pradesh Election Watch and Affiliation for Democratic Reforms(ADR) have analysed the self-sworn affidavits of 35 out of 36 newly elected MLCs within the Uttar Pradesh 2022 Legislative Council Elections and located that 40 per cent of them have felony instances registered in opposition to them and 94 per cent of them are crorepatis.

ADR in a report right here on Wednesday stated Jansatta Dal (Loktantrik) MLC Akshay Pratap Singh has not been analysed because of the unavailability of his full and correctly scanned affidavit.

Based on report, out of the 35 MLCs analysed, 14 or 40 computer MLCs have declared felony instances in opposition to themselves.

9 or 26 per cent MLCs have declared severe felony instances together with instances associated to homicide, try to homicide, bribery and so on and three MLCs have declared instances associated to homicide (IPC Part-302) in opposition to themselves.

ADR report says that 13 or 39 computer out of 33 MLCs from BJP and one or 50 computer out of the 2 Impartial MLCs have declared felony instances in opposition to themselves of their affidavits.

Equally, out of the 35 newly elected MLCs, 33 or 94 computer are crorepatis.

A complete of 31 or 94 computer MLCs from BJP and two or 100% Impartial MLCs have declared property price greater than Rs. 1 crore.

The typical of property per MLC within the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council elections is Rs. 17.39 crores.

The typical property per MLC of the 33 BJP MLCs analysed is Rs 16.94 crores and the 2 Impartial MLCs personal on an common property of Rs 24.75 crores.

Relating to instructional {qualifications}, seven or 20 computer MLCs have declared their training qualification to be between eighth cross and twelfth cross whereas 28 or 80 computer MLCs have declared having an academic qualification of graduate or above.
