Bhopal: Around 18 members of the Bhopal chapter of Association of Democratic Reforms (ADR) are all set to tour around the state to spread awareness among voters in the districts under the ‘Mera Desh, Mera Vote’ campaign. The group will go on a weeklong tour and aware the people about voting and apps, from which they can find the background of the candidates before casting their votes. Rolly Shivhare of ADR told TOI that the group had decided to utilize a number of art-forms to spread the awareness in an interactive and an entertaining way. “We will screen short-films in the villages and perform puppet shows for them, telling them the importance of casting their vote and making an informed decision in a democracy. We will also perform street plays and sing songs to keep the audience entertained as we tell them about ‘My Neta’ app and ADR, which are helping them in making informed decisions”, she said. The campaigners are scheduled to visit Hoshangabad, Narsingpur, Raisen, Betul and Harda in the first trip. In the second trip they will cover Vidisha, Rajgarh and Sehore while they will go to Ujjain, Jhabua and Indore in the third tour. The members, as part of this awareness campaign in Bhopal will organize a rangoli and cartoon making competition at the Motilal Vigyan Mahavidhalaya on Monday
