While the average assets of 227 MLAs of Mamta Banerjee’s party Trinamool Congress is Rs 3.51 crore. The average assets of 161 MLAs of Aam Aadmi Party is Rs 10.20 crore. The average assets of 146 MLAs of YSRCP is Rs 23.14 crore.

The total assets of the MLAs of the country is Rs 49103 crore more than the total annual budget of 3 states.

The ADR report has revealed that the total assets of 4001 MLAs of the country are Rs 49103 crore more than the total annual budget of 2023-24 of 3 states Nagaland, Mizoram and Sikkim. The annual budget of Nagaland for 2023-24 is Rs 23086 crore. Mizoram has Rs 14210 crore and Sikkim has Rs 11807 crore.

Total assets of BJP MLAs Rs 16234 crore

According to the ADR report, total assets of total 1356 MLAs of BJP is Rs 16234 crore. While the total assets of 719 MLAs of Congress is Rs 15798 crore. The total assets of 146 MLAs of YSRCP is Rs 3379 crore. The total assets of 131 MLAs of DMK is Rs 1663 crore. While the total assets of 161 MLAs of Aam Aadmi Party is Rs 1642 crore.

The total assets of BJP and Congress MLAs are 59 percent of the MLAs of 84 political parties.

According to the ADR report, the total assets of sitting MLAs of BJP and INC are Rs 16234 crore and Rs 15798 crore, which is 58.72 percent of the total assets of Rs 54545 crore or Rs 32032 crore of sitting MLAs of 84 political parties and independents.

The report revealed that the total assets of 223 Karnataka MLAs are more than the combined annual budget of Mizoram and Sikkim. The total assets of the current MLAs is 26 percent of Rs 54545 crore.

According to the ADR report, Rajasthan, Punjab, Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal, Goa, Meghalaya, Odisha, Assam, Nagaland, Uttarakhand, Kerala, Puducherry, Jharkhand, Sikkim, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura It is more than the combined assets of the present MLAs. The total combined assets of sitting MLAs of these 21 states and union territories is Rs 13976 crore.

Tripura is the state with the least total assets of its legislators.

According to the report, the state with the least total assets of the MLAs is Tripura, where the total assets of 59 MLAs are Rs 90 crore. After this, the total assets of 40 MLAs of Mizoram is Rs 190 crore. While the total assets of 60 MLAs of Manipur is Rs 225 crore.
