A significant revelation emerged, showcasing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as the primary beneficiary, amassing a substantial Rs 259.08 crore. This constituted a massive 70.69% of the total trust donations disbursed to political entities.

Contrarily, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) secured a notable Rs 90 crore, encompassing 24.56% of the overall donations from these trusts. Further scrutiny of the ADR report highlighted the diversified sources of these contributions. Corporate entities and business houses played a pivotal role, collectively pouring over Rs 363 crore into electoral trusts.

The Prudent Electoral Trust, a prominent player, directed substantial funds, contributing a substantial Rs 256.25 crore to the BJP. However, this amount represented a decline from the previous fiscal year's contribution of Rs 336.50 crore.
