CORPORATE DONATIONS TO POLITICAL PARTIES: Funding is done every year to political parties. The report of which also comes out every year. One such report has come out. The report revealed that corporates and business houses donated ₹921.95 crore to national parties in the financial year 2019-20, of which BJP got ₹720.407 crore. The five parties whose donations were analyzed included the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Indian National Congress, the Nationalist Congress Party, the All India Trinamool Congress and the Communist Party of India-Marxist. According to the report, out of the five national parties, BJP received the maximum donations of Rs 720,407 crore from 2,025 corporate donors during the financial year 2019-20, followed by INC with a total of Rs 133.04 crore from 154 donors. and NCP received 57.086 crore from 36 corporate donors, with

During the period 2012-13 to 2019-20, national parties have received maximum corporate donation of Rs.921.95 crore in 2019-20.2019-20 Corporate donations received in the U.S. accounted for 24.62 percent of the total corporate donations made between 2012-13 and 2019-20. In the financial year 2019-20, out of total ₹921.95 crore given by corporate/business houses to five national parties, ₹22.312 crore was received from different category, which includes companies whose details are not available online.2019- During the 1920s, electoral trusts were the largest donors to national parties, contributing a total of ₹397.82 crore.
During 2019-20, BJP, Congress, AITC and NCP received maximum contribution from electoral trusts. BJP got the highest Rs 323.32 crore, followed by Congress at Rs 71.00 crore, AITC Rs 2.00 crore and NCP Rs 1.50 crore. There have been some shocking revelations in this report.
