The Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday announced that Uttar Pradesh minister Satyadev Pachauri will be fielded from Kanpur constituency, which is currently held by party veteran Murli Manohar Joshi. Joshi had won the seat in 2014 by a huge margin.
The Congress on Tuesday said the minimum income scheme it announced was not a ‘top up scheme’ and described it as ‘woman-centric’.
