ADR's Campus Ambassador from IIT, Madras (IIT-M), Tejaswini Jagtap, in collaboration with the Public Policy Club of IIT-M, organised Neeti Reeti, a case study competition. As part of the collaboration, a talk was organised on "Role of Technology in Improving Democracy ahead of the case study competition on 23rd September 2023 at 4 PM. Mr Jaskirat Singh, Trustee of ADR, delivered the talk. 

He emphasized on the fact that with the advanced data collection and analysis tools, governments can better understand the needs and preferences of their constituents. This enables evidence-based policymaking, as policymakers can use data to identify trends, assess the impact of existing policies, and predict future outcomes. He urged the students to understand how, in an increasingly interconnected world, the ability of governments to harness technology is not just advantageous but essential for addressing complex challenges and meeting the evolving needs of their citizens and how, being an IITian, they can contribute to this cause.
