Seven of the 11 newly sworn-in ministers in Punjab have declared legal circumstances towards themselves, with 4 of them dealing with critical costs, ballot rights group Affiliation for Democratic Reforms mentioned on Monday.

The 11 ministers embody Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

Punjab Election Watch and the Affiliation for Democratic Reforms analysed the affidavits of all 11 ministers, together with the CM.

The ADR mentioned seven ministers (64 per cent) have declared legal circumstances towards themselves. 4 of them (36 per cent) have declared critical legal circumstances towards themselves.

Of the 11 ministers, 9 are crorepatis and the typical of their property is Rs 2.87 crore.

The minister with the very best declared complete property is Bram Shanker (Jimpa) from Hoshiarpur. He has property price Rs. 8.56 crore.

Lal Chand from Bhoa (Sc) constituency has the bottom declared complete property price Rs 6.19 lakh.

9 ministers have declared liabilities.

The ADR mentioned 5 ministers (45 per cent) have declared their instructional qualification to be between Class 10 and 12 whereas the remaining are graduate or above.

Six ministers (55 per cent) have declared their age to be between 31 and 50 years whereas 5 (45 per cent) are aged 51 and 60, the ADR mentioned.

Ten AAP MLAs had been sworn in as Punjab ministers on Saturday.

They’re Harpal Singh Cheema, Harbhajan Singh, Dr Vijay Singla, Lal Chand, Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer, Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, Laljit Singh Bhullar, Bram Shanker Jimpa, Harjot Singh Bains and Dr Baljit Kaur.
