The Communication, Advocacy, and Partnerships (CAP) section of UNICEF India organized its bi-annual network meeting on 24-25 July 2023. This meeting brought together all CAP staff members from our Delhi office and 13 field offices, collectively supporting our initiatives across 24 states in India. With the motive of enriching the conversation with diverse perspectives, they invited Prof Trilochan Sastry (Chairman, Founder Member & Trustee of ADR) to deliver a talk on one of their sessions, which was on "Navigating the Current Socio-political Landscape" on 24 July 2023. - Spotlighting children's rights and issues without getting entangled in party politics.
- Strategies for engaging with elected representatives and candidates at various levels to champion child rights.
- Opportunities to amplify children’s voices around upcoming elections assembly and general elections. Risks and opportunities for child-rights advocacy surrounding elections.
