The asset growth of the re-elected MLAs in Delhi Assembly polls has witnessed an average increase of a whopping 338 per cent since 2008.

The average asset of 22 re-elected MLAs in 2013 stands at `14.22 crore against the average assets of the 22 MLAs in 2008 at `3.24 crore, the average asset of these 22 re-elected MLAs grew by 338 per cent or by `10.97 crore, said an analysis of affidavits of 22 re-elected MLAs by Association of Democratic reforms.

The assets of Sat Prakash Rana of the BJP from Bijwasan recorded the highest growth. He has declared an increase of `105.51 crore (1,652 per cent), from `6.38 crores in 2008 to `111.89 crore in 2013.
