New Delhi: DMK chief Karunanidhi's son MK Alagiri is the sitting MP from Madurai. He was suspended from the party in January and was not given a Lok Sabha ticket. The leader from Tamil Nadu has scored 5.59 on a scale of 10 in a survey conducted by CNN-IBN and ADR that rates our parliamentarians' performance.

On the parameter of accessibility Alagiri scored 6 out of 10 and 5.7 on trustworthiness.

The Madurai MP was rated 5.3 on law and order, 5.7 on better public transport, 5.3 for provision of good roads, 5.5 for provision of schools, 5.16 for providing safe drinking water and 5.72 for primary health centres.

Alagiri scored close to 6 on women's security and 5.7 for ensuring employment opportunities.

His overall rating is 5.59 out of 10.
