The peripheral actions of the Samajwadi Party leaders, legislators and government leaders have gradually begun to explode. The letter from the National Commission for Scheduled Castes and Tribes has shaken up the Uttar Pradesh government and the police establishment. This letter has been written to the commission, asking arrest of a minister, who is accused of the most heinous crime, rape. Despite of the letter, the Uttar Pradesh police have no courage to take action against the minister.
Vice Chairman of National Commission for Scheduled Tribe and Caste, Rajkumar Vereka has written a letter to the DGP of Uttar Pradesh, ordering him to investigate against the Stamp and Registration Minister of State Manoj Paras as he has been accused of raping a schedule caste young woman in 2006.
In 2006, Mulayam Singh Yadav's Samajwadi Party's government was at power when the Manoj Paras committed the crime. The victim had approached the official from the police station level to the high authorities but her plea was not taken into consideration. When her plea was not taken into consideration, she wrote a letter to the National Commission for Scheduled Castes and Tribes, telling them about the atrocities she faced.
When the National Commission for Scheduled Castes and Tribes, took the victim's plea into consideration and investigated, they found that the woman is not lying. Manoj is the MLA of Nagina area in Bijnore and currently, is the minister of two departments under Uttar Pradesh's Chief Miniter Akhilesh Yadav's ministry. As per sources, Manoj has stated that he has not committed such a crime. Also, this letter has created a ruckus in the police department of Uttar Pradesh.
The police are not able to take any action against the Manoj Paras in spite of the letter as he is the senior SP Minister. The affidavit that Manoj submitted to the election commission had him mentioning that there is a case in which he is accused of rape.
According to the survey conducted by the National Election Watch and Association for Democratic Reforms on the ministers under Akhilesh Yadav's government, more than 53 per cent ministers are accused of various crimes. The report has stated that out of the 47 ministers under SP government, 25 are accused of various crimes as they had mentioned their various cases, while submitting their affidavit to the election commission. Among the list of 25 ministers, 9 of them are accused of heinous crimes like rape, murder, attempt to murder, kidnapping and robbery. The ministers who have innumerable cases registered under them include - the states silk and textile minister and MLA from Amroha district, Mehboob Ali.
The condition of law in Uttar Pradesh, is now not hidden to any because even if Akhilesh Yadav, SP chief and state at national forums give explanations to the masses by saying that the law is in order, then they are wrong as the truth is coming to the forefront revealing that the law is not in order because the ministers under Akhilesh's government are losing control.
