Candidates with Criminal Cases: Out of the 98 candidates analysed, 20 (20%) candidates have declared criminal cases against themselves.
- Candidates with Serious Criminal Cases: Out of 98 candidates, 12 candidates have declared serious criminal cases relating to attempt to murder, intent to outraging a woman’s modesty, criminal intimidation, promoting communal disharmony etc.
- Party wise Candidates with Criminal Cases: 6 (55%) out of 11 candidates fielded by BJP, 2 (18%) out of 11 candidates from INC, 1 (9%) out of 11 candidates from BJD, 2 (18%) of 11 candidates from BSP and 1 (10%) out of 10 candidates of AAP have declared criminal cases against themselves in their affidavits.
- Party wise Candidates with Serious Criminal Cases: 2 (18%) of 11 candidates fielded by BJP, 1 each (9%) fielded by INC and BSP and 1 (10%) out of 10 candidates of AAP have declared serious criminal cases against themselves in their affidavits.

Financial Background
