In the upcoming second phase of Jharkhand Assembly polls, 28% of candidates have criminal cases against them, according to the Association for Democratic Reforms. This includes 44% from the BJP and 42% from the Congress. 

The analysis covered 522 candidates, revealing that 148 have declared criminal cases, with 122 facing serious charges. Notably, 12 candidates reported crimes against women, including one charge of rape. 

Additionally, 24% of candidates are classified as crorepatis, with significant wealth reported among major parties. The first phase of voting occurred on November 13, and results will be counted on November 23.
