Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik emerged as the third richest person of all the chief ministers of the country, according to the latest report of Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR). The independent group, in collaboration with National Election Watch, has analysed the self-sworn affidavits of all the 30 current chief ministers of the State Assemblies and Union Territories of the country.

The report state, Andhra Pradesh CM richest in the country with Rs 510 crore while Arunachal Pradesh CM second richest.

The report titled ‘Analysis of Current Chief Ministers from 28 State Assemblies and 2 Union Territories of India 2023’ was released on Wednesday by the group which champions democratic reforms in the country. Interestingly, the report sprang no major surprises as it showed a continuation of the same trend persisting over the past few years.

As per the report, Patnaik has properties of Rs 63.87 crore, including movable assets of Rs 23,26,555 and immovable assets of Rs 63,64,15,261. The report further said that Patnaik has self income of Rs 21.17 lakh and liabilities of Rs 15 lakh.

Earlier, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) of Odisha is the second richest regional political party in India, revealed the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) .
