In a recent survey conducted by the Association for the Democratic Reforms (ADR), the Indian voters have ranked 'employment' as the top priority in key issues of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

New Delhi: Jobs, healthcare, farm crisis, infrastructure, water, law and order education and roads Indians have ranked there priorities in a recent survey conducted by the Association for the Democratic Reforms (ADR). 

While talking to Mirror Now, Ghanshyam Tiwari of the Samajwadi Party talked about solutions that the  political parties have to come up with in order to curb the prominent issues which the voters have rated as ‘top priority.’

He said, India has a large young population, so first priority should be education. The political parties need to give free high-quality education from primary to college level. 'The link between job and education is broken today', added Tiwari. 

He further mentioned we need to have a partnership with our nano enterprises, to ensure people get skilled in local areas as well. The farming needs to sustainable at it's lowest scale, be it through loan waivers, subsidies or through other technology aided mechanisms, he added. 

He also emphasised on women empowerment in the country, he mentioned ample measures should be taken to ensure that in the decade we have double the women workforce as compared to today. 

Meanwhile, a senior journalist Kingshuk Nag told Mirror Now that these are just theoretical answers, like a good classroom report.

He added that after 1991, the healthcare sector is merely in government's hands, with privatization of the healthcare sector, the government hospitals are crippling due to overpopulation. On the contrary, private hospitals only cater to rich patients. He added, that the above points mentioned by the politician are just theoretical points and nothing will happen in reality.
